Into the Wilderness: Hiking & Backpacking British Columbia, Canada

British Columbia, the westernmost province of Canada, stretches between the Rocky Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, and is largely covered by lush rainforests. Known for its wilderness and breathtaking landscapes, BC is home to some of the most incredible day hikes and backpacking adventures in the world.

With a backpack on your shoulders, exploring the wild and unspoiled Canadian terrain becomes a truly unforgettable adventure, offering a mix of dense forests, rugged mountains, and panoramic views over pristine lakes and rivers. Whether you’re seeking short day hikes or multi-day backpacking trips, British Columbia offers something for every adventurer.

Here, you’ll find my favorite hikes, and many more will be added over time, all captured with an action camera, photos, or videos. These immersive media let you virtually experience the breathtaking and untouched landscapes of British Columbia, Canada, along with its incredible wildlife.

I also want to acknowledge that Indigenous Peoples are the original inhabitants of the land that is now Canada, and their presence and traditions are deeply connected to these lands we explore today.
